For the first time in the two years he's been living in the Lou, D will be home celebrating 'Merica (his word, not mine) rather than being in Michigan. 
St. Louis is known for their huge fair and fireworks display known as Fair St. Louis and we're headed down to the Riverfront to experience all of the festivities and fun later today.  But right now, we're getting ready for the Veiled Prophet Parade which will be coming down the street any minute.  This is a first for me...being 7 floors in the air, getting a birds eye view of a parade from the living room.
