You know what I could use right now?!?

....a vacation! And a vacation is what I will get tomorrow morning! I'm heading to Memphis with my awesome bro for the big Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Festival. I can hardly wait! Even though we are both adults now, I still have that "Oh look...no parents! Time to party!!" feeling and like we're getting away with something.

I know we're going to have a blast and I'm ready for some time away from the Lou and work. I'm just hoping we make it back on Sunday in one piece, especially since there is only one rule for this trip....no tequila! Ha! As for the rest of the weekend, we'll just go with the flow.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

While most Americans take this day as a day to party...me included, I would like to note that I do know that this is a historical day for Mexico and more specifically for the Mexican state of Puebla and it should be taken seriously.

However, in true Lindsay fashion, I did find time to party with my awesome friends at Chevy's after work and have a margarita. What a great way to start off the week, especially since I'm sure that the next 4 days will be extremely hectic with working on financials and running analysis on last month's data! In any case, I'm sure I will survive it all just like every other month.
